Drumfuck is cool as old shit on a sidewalk in February, but I hate the BD sound. WHY WOULD YOU MAKE THE MOST IMPORTANT SOUND THE ONLY ONE YOU CANT MODIFY?!?!? Is why I just ordered the Blue Lantern BD, I’ll just send the gate to that instead.
The BL BD sounds great from demos, and the only complaint I’ve seen is the lack of cv control. I typically set and forget my drum settings, so having an extra BD to tune in with 6hp is fine.

Been a while since I've done one of these... but this is what I'm aiming towards as a complete system (plus two el Capistans). The empty 1U will be noise + buffered mult. I have most of the functionality here in my current rack but I'm thinking this will help diversify and streamline my process. The thing that might take a while is obtaining Ansible + Grid, cuz that's a big chunk of change... Also want to reiterate my love for the Mannequins designs. It's so much fun to patch and explore all the different combinations between them. They were all really made for each other.
Also curious if anyone has an Entity and if so, their impressions

niiiiice.
yah. Mannequins stuff is.... bananas. here's where i'm at once stuff gets in/gets built (Mux is on order from Befaco) -
all the NoiseEng on the bottom row is black, they just don't have pics up yet for that. not sure what to do with that 4 hp. and i go back and forth on Mangrove or Cold Mac. need to spend more time with Mac, i like the Mangrove more right now.
'm also torn about the DLD. the two sides and having them play off each other is nifffffty, but i never use the loopings and it's super finicky about CV control. if i traded the Chronoblobber for her, i'd have room for either the Cold Mac or E950.

That bottom row must be very aesthetically pleasing in all black.
I'm selling/trading some stuff (Spectrum / Clock Div / DrumBrute) get at me

And I'm over here, contemplating sanding down the faceplate on the Pico DSP so it's just plain aluminum...

Sold some stuff and now have a uVCA II, Keystep, and Knight's Gallop kit incoming. I know I talked down on the Gallop's design previously but it seems too interesting to leave alone
I really wanted to get a Cold Mac next but I couldn't find one for sale anywhere

having a heck of a time finding a sequencer that feels good to me. (I posted a VB in the BST thread). What're you all doing for interesting melodic sequencing that has more than 1/4 note pulses. I'd like to sustain some notes and maybe make some 1/8 notes but I can't seem to make that happen super easily. The ER-101 looks like it'll do it and prob the Eloquencer but I'm looking for other ideas. Ive considered the beatstep pro but I'd like to keep it euro. please help
