The language of “free speech” and “censorship” is old, but the fervour of this panic is new. Of course, this could be entirely due to a sudden rise of censorious behaviour. But this explanation is hard to credit for one obvious reason: the current wave of “free speech” advocacy has coincided directly with the rise of social media, amateur publishing and the “citizen journalism” that is now possible at virtually zero cost. The proliferation of platforms that grant anyone a public voice should, in principle, have put concerns about censorship to rest. After all, even very bad writers with offensive opinions can now see their words published – or broadcast their voices via YouTube and podcasting. By any measure, speech is less regulated or inhibited than ever before. This has spawned some ugly argumentative tactics, including the hostile mobilisation of online supporters against opponents, which have made public debate angrier and less inviting to many. But, as unattractive as this is, it is not censorship.

I have this theory about California, on going there.. on a trip up to the tahoe mountains ..there was an obvious warp displacement field of some kind, natural? I remember telling the friend who was driving me from airport something was strange, then as soon as we hit the way up I knew he was not who he said he was and I traveled somewhere that felt like back in time THEN on entering some grow guys house I looked out the window and was taken away by a fence...why? You may ask...because I seriously no fucking joke saw the same place in a dream I fucking indian guide cub scout bible bloody swear and was like....well stay away from California yall.

Yea, I ain't sitting through 25 minutes of that to find out what it has to do with CA.
California is flawed, but it's an amazing place. Not for everyone, but I'll never leave. Too much good stuff here.

It has nothing to do with California. Just a poorly posted video by a poorly executed attempt at poor journalism on people with a poor sense of reality.
The problem with guns is the same as most things that are a problem. People refuse to look at their own cultural momentum vs technology vs actual emotional evolution. Ignoring that makes it easier to blame gun violence on gun access vs WHY was there a violent act in the first place.. Because then you have to look at the cultural issue of why is violence seen as a answer to conflict. Why is there a need for guns? For weapons?

Almost all his videos are in CA.
Post-2017, almost all his videos (that are at protests/marches) involved someone accosting and ultimately harassing him for asking people questions about the thing they're protesting/marching about.
