He seems to be obsessed with this boat:

Maybe if we give it to him, he'll go somewhere in it? :snax:

I don'ta get it? Is this a hatfield vs mccoys joke? Or some sort of comment on the state of Bert and Ernie's relationship status?

I wish--just a before and after. The photo of Drumpf launching paper towel rolls to the flooded-out Puerto Ricans reminded me of a local news story from this summer about a lady that took a Phanatic-launched weiner right in the eyeball.

Guess that story was a bit *too* local :picard:

edit: kudos on the Hatfield reference (I live about 5 miles from Hatfield. It really does smell like scrapple, lol)

Guess it's a bad idea to be "sarcastic" on social media when you're in that kind of position of power.

Where do these clowns come from? I guess they got their sideshow to pull attention away from Dr. Ford, even though she's going to try and make it to the Senate committee by Thursday.

well, now the news outlets are saying that Rosenstein hasn't resigned and refuses to, and that Trump will have to sack him. he's apparently on the way to the White House now for meetings.

this week is going to be the craziest since what we here in Charlottesville like to call "Nazi Weekend."

now the story is that Rosenstein will meet with Trump again on Thursday. it's been postulated that the whole will-he-or-won't-he Rosenstein thing has been cobbled together in an attempt to push the Kavanaugh stuff off the front pages. seems a little counterproductive to me.

I think it just telegraphs how much of a corner this admin is in at the moment.
If your two choices for media distraction are
A) letting a doctor recount a sexual assault by your SCotUS nominee, or
B) creating a Constitutional crisis that won't be actionable until AFTER mid-term elections
then just imagine what a fucking pile-up option C is.

A second woman is accusing Kavanaugh of misconduct, this time while they were college students at Yale.

If the Republicans insist on ramrodding this guy through, I think will lose women voters.

There are also allegations that he has lied during his confirmation hearings, so even if he is appointed his position could be in jeopardy if the Democrats take control of Congress. Lying to Congress can get you up to 5 years in the joint.

Where are these mythical Republican women that haven't already been turned off by the rest of the proceedings coming from though?

You can't have a last straw for a happy camel, as it were.

Listening to the number of women justify his (and Trump's) actions is truly mind boggling. Anyone who sides with what the GOP has become is fucked in the head.

Important to remember, perhaps, that you can be a woman by a few different measures but you can only be a Republican by choice.
