also, got both my uo_C's programmed and running right. was simple, just needed to clear the EEPROM of the o_C, which is eassssssssy, and didna require a recalibration.
the Hemisphere is AWESOME.

WOO! Glad that got worked out...
Still waiting on my power supply to come back from Intellijel... once that gets sorted, I'll be putting Hemisphere on mine as well.
Until then...

Ooh man, that looks fun! I've wanted one of the HC-TT for awhile. Pretty excited about the new version

I've been thinking about paring down my modular a lil and get some more "jammable" sequencers to have fun with. Less screens/button combos, more knobbies.
I've come to realize that immediacy is key for me and modular stuff. I think I lose my patience when I have to use what feels like an outdated interface for something that can be accomplished much faster with a computer. I prefer tweaking and twiddling on a keyboard than a modular. Idk why.
The Noise Engineering Mimetic is near the top but it's only one knob, so there are still some combos to learn. I'm about to fall down the rabbit hole of researching modules again. God help my wallet.
Also some news in case anyone cares:
OP-Z's expected release date is in October now.

OP-Z is mostly a sequencer and can apparently sequence CV, too, so I figure it's still tangentially related.

Spot on. Also that percusso SSP looks like something I'd never want/use ever. See above reasons.

Yeah, I can definitely understand that sentiment. Luckily with the system i have, there's plenty of modules for me to use without any menu diving which is what i like to do when i just want to play. However, i don't mind some menu diving and programming when i'm recording actual songs. That said, i'm not a fan of small screens and menu diving. I'm giving this one a chance for the large screen and supposedly minimal menu diving with easy to understand prompts on the screen. Who knows... maybe i'll hate it but I definitely like the features i've read so far.

i am in LOVE with the FLXS. her and Pam's are Never Let Go Of modules for me. and they have a touch of menus.
but i feel you. i enjoy having a setup that mixes Pre-Plan Attack Times and Wubblr Instantly.

Yeah Pam’s and Flxs are easy to understand and quick once you get the hang of them so those two are some of my favorite modules and aren’t going anywhere.
We’ll see how this goes but I like the idea of say... one of many features.... going into granular mode and being able to see your sample and scrubbing it right there on the big screen. That’s useful for even creating samples and dumping into day Morphagene or something without using a computer. Just one example but this thing can do so much which could definitely be a reason I don’t like it.... if the interface is easy to undertand and consistent then I think I’ll like it just fine
