And after reading all the news and commentary over the past week or so, there's one question that I think we as a nation, as a species, must ask. A question that has haunted us for years. A question so important that if we don't ask it how can we look ourselves in the mirror, how can we truly call ourselves human. A question that may be shaped in DC desperate sweaty dens of iniquity but that just might influence the live of every living being in the known universe...

I mean...if white christian women heard Trump talk about sexually assaulting women because he was famous on tape, but didn't care - why would they be calling their Senators and telling them a SCotUS pick isn't proper? I doubt they would still divert, even if Dr. Ford had photographic proof the guy was there at the party. They've shown that they simply don't care.

It's been shown so many times by psychologists that authoritarian leaning conservatives have profoundly different ideas about sex, consent and punishment than every other group. The Dems are dying on a hill, desperate to prove something that deep red conservos just don't give a shit about, unless a political opponent does it.
