but dude you don't get it, maybe its because they're not classically trained in guitar and they don't fucking care about your scales and your note reading and your know how around the fret boards, HAVE THE FRET BOARDS, they'll be on the tunings. Let them on the boards maaaaaan, they'll bring the house down! See, to Sonic Youth, they don't care about playing guitar, they don't care about being guitar players, they don't care about the history or sacredness you people hold guitar and guitar music, they're about sonics, they're about melody, they're about mathematics, they're about music, not being "guitar players". To Sonic Youth they play the tunings as much as they play the guitar.

Achtane is one of the users here with the deepest commitment and the most serious mind.

I’d believe him.

Thanks, bro. It's good to be seen instead of hand-waved away.

The muffeleta is cool, reminds of the pedal that did all the tube screamers in history into a singular pedal and you can choose with a switch only for muffs (forgot who did that pedal), the neve preamp is cool, but are you honestly trying to charge people a ridiculous amount of money for modified Boss pedals and whatever of the past when you can get them for half the price? Reminds of some supplement companies taking advantage of the lack of knowledge of masses, and then charge massive premiums on very basic ingredients that you can get like for 4x less thee price. See, this is why socialism > capitalism, cos ones for the greater good, ones to take advantage of you as much as possible and make you feel like shit about yourself and insecure so drown your sorrows in materialism, doing whatever desperate thing you can to improve yourself, not to mention the general mental health of society this causes when people don't like themselves, its harder to have empathy for others and not be so self absorbed which then perpetuates feelings of alienation and isolation.

Anyway, what was I talking about?
Stop giving that shitty company attention.

I have a buddy that's a gear basic bitch. He's used the same Dual Rec and Tele for years with almost no pedals. He recently started buying some new gear and his first new pedal was a JHS. I was excited that he was excited but couldn't help but groan internally. Now I've just got to introduce him to the world of our excellent builders.

it's kinda surprising what a footing jhs has in the consumer group of your average buyer of pedals (not ilf hikikomori). i guess he is what shows up on youtube when you search for "distortion box" :idk:
