I have both, and enjoy both, but my 3ds gets far more use.

WiI U is great for entertaining or playing with family, but I tend to go for the 3ds for solo stuff. Tons of really good titles, and it's portable, which is great for me, killing time between newspaper assignments.

There is a lot of crossover on the virtual consoles for each, up to SNES, and they've rereleased LoZ:OoT and MM as stand alones as well.

Also, I just got BoxBoxBoy, and it's so much fun.

I vote 3ds, or 2ds, new or used.

Was looking at buying a play station solely because of no man's sky.
Forgot I don't have a TV.

Yeah, I use my 27" monitor both for PC and PS4, I just use a small HDMI switch to choose which one goes to the monitor. Works fine.

PC no man's sky release got pushed back to the 12th, and won't be able to play until the 14th. :(
PS4 release is tomorrow.
Will need to avoid all contact with internet until the 14th.

The hype surrounding No Man's Sky is at a fevered pitch, and I simply don't see the appeal of it. Every thing I've ever watch has focussed on the size and generation of the galaxy and not about any sort of conflict or purpose other than to fly around and find planets.

I dunno, I'm generally anti-preorder anymore (thank you very much DICEA for breaking me of that habit), so I wasn't going to pre-order anyways but I'm interested to see how people feel about this a month from now.

I'd far rather have the newest version of Elite on my PS4 than NMS. I first played Elite in like 1983 or something on a C64, and to me that's the best space game I've ever played.

I like the idea of flying around in space, discovering planets, upgrading my gear, and getting the the center of the galaxy.
Sounds super relaxing. Wish I smoked da weed....because that sounds even more awesome.
I think there's more than that in the game now, but I've mostly kept myself in the dark to avoid overhype or being disappointed.

I feel pretty much the exact same way as Gas King. It sounds relaxing to just explore and find random shit. I see it as Minecraft in space. I have no idea how accurate that is because I've tried to stay fairly in the dark too, but that's pretty much what I'm hoping for. Also, I love the colours/graphics. They definitely add to the peaceful and relaxing feel

Yeah soon as I heard about it I knew Nintendo would react fast. Like Sonic fast.

It's so good too. Truly well done. Everything is pro, the OST an instant classic of remixes.
