Just got the poweramp and case for this. I am very happy with this setup. Works way better than my previous head which was the cheapest hybrid marshall head you could imagine that I got when I was like 16 cause I didn't wanna use dirt pedals (that worked well lmao). It has plenty of headroom and power, and the EQ is amazing. These Ampeg preamps are a steal if you can get one, pretty much the old SVT/V4 preamp in a rack with graphic EQ. Currently running it into a homemade 410 with blueback Eminence bass elements at 8ohms, which sounds great but I could always use another cab...

That's ill! How did you go about doing the custom screening? I'm not really that big a fan of modern orange cause they don't do the old designs with baxandall and my guitarist had a th30 and it sucked! No headroom whatsoever and went from fuzzy and compressed to unintelligible goop.

This x100b appears to have had a some mods done. I had to open it up and resolder one of the power tube connections as heater on the tube would only intermittently light up. I could see a few mods had been done but I'm not sure exactly what. The lead/drive channel seems pretty hot to me while the clean channel is very clean so I would assume the mods were to the lead channel.
Rebuilding after the move. I've got my eye on a Traynor 18+2x8 cab that is the thing of dreams/nightmares that would round things out nicely.

In the meantime, I lucked into a couple of ridiculous deals on CL and picked up a SF champ and a carvin bass cab that'll hold me over until I have the full rig running again.
