I dig the look of ALTTP :idk:
It was advanced & distinct for its time, still has charm but agree the *people* sprites are all a bit rough, but not Secret of Evermore protagonist-bad

I struggle to even consider Link's Awakening underrated. It's triforce tier and doesn't even contain Zelda.
Started the dual button sword+shield mechanic and introduced jump.
There were 4 jumpless LoZ games before it :whoa:
Just now remembering my batteries dying at the final bird, when I left the wall wart somewhere else. Ugh forgot about that.

Ocarina > Majora. But Navi pls chill ya chatty attention sponge/10

:whoa: you're right.
3* jumpless games before Link's Awakening
(LoZ, ALTTP and the *portable* Zelda watch/clamshell Tiger-type game which is neither top-down nor a *real* Zelda game)

I got caught up thinking of the top-down perspective games and somehow glossed right over TAOL's outlier gameplay... despite replaying it less than a month ago

I've been playing Mankind Divided which is cool but it's triggering my motion sickness a little so i'm unsure if i'll stick with it.
I was planning on buying one when p5 came out (which was originally quite a bit in the past) but my friend is a manager at gamestop and got me one for 250 so I couldn't put it off any longer. I haven't played any deus ex games, can I jump into mankind divided or so I need to read some Wikipedia articles first?

I hate to be that guy, but the NPC and enemy sprites in ALTTP are pretty bad (indoor perspective makes no sense either), the dungeons are generally uninspired and some of the rooms are just super messy and aesthetically displeasing. I do love ALTTP, but it has plenty of flaws from a designer's standpoint. The music is by far the best though! Except for the boss battle theme, which is annoying as fuck.
I'm not even sure I'd notice, I've played this game so much I can 100% it in a couple hours and honestly could probably beat it in my sleep at this point.

Bought an AMD rx480, still considering buying another and running it in Crossfire because two of them is still cheaper than a GTX1080. They're suuuuuper good for the price and i'm even able to play Mankind Divided at Very High or High with all the 'special sauce' filters maxed. Also as much as I really love the soundtrack, i've had to drop the music volume down pretty significantly or else it can be pretty hard to hear what is going on and especially hearing the Lazarus Radio or Picus News.

There's a pretty good 12 minute summary of Human Revolution that you can watch before you start a new game. Though, you can easily find a cheap copy to play which is well worth it.

Noted. I might just put it off until early next year and then play both because I'm going to be pretty busy and want to play the Witcher 3 before p5 comes out and absolutely consumes my life

I honestly can't recommend crossfire. It gets very little support.

I'm not a fan of any multi-gpu solution lately. They all seem to have quirks and issues, not to mention iffy on how well it actually scales.

Is there any reason to do a multi GPU thing, like ever?

Like, I get it if all you care about is FPS in video games and have thousands of dollars, but it's sort moronic to ever actually consider it.

Or I guess if you like running 8 monitors, yea its useful then.

I've never had an SLI setup (since AGP card days).
I'm several years outta the game now, but I'm pretty sure SLI compatibility is still hit & miss with even AAA titles.
FME I'd rather have a single overpowered gpu. Not necessarily OC'd...memory and stability are paramount IMO

Now playing: LoZ: The Wind Waker HD

It's still cute. HD really does the cell shading justice. Very pretty!

I assume that people who still shit on WindWaker never actually played it. It's an incredible game and only made better by the fantastic art choice.
