I'm not alone this Valentine's Day! But we're not going to be able to see each because we live over 100 miles from each other  I'm gonna try and sneak down in the morning, before my classes and her classes, so we can have breakfast together.

been offline for a few days because my laptop finally bit the dust (it was a PowerPC PowerBook that'd been slowly dying for the last year), but good stuff happened in the meantime...i had an excellent interview on Monday with an employment agency that does hjgh-end graphic design placements, drove to Battle Creek and bought medicinal trees, ordered discounted effects (Street Sweeper and Tap Gyroscope!) that will fill almost all my remaining desired functions, and got to really know Lulu, my new kitty. she's about the sweetest-natured cat i've ever seen. i'll take pictures later today so y'all can see her. in short, things actually seem to be starting to move.

I wish it was, but not only is she Mormon, she's never really dated before. So, things are progressing VERY slow on that front even for being 100+ miles away from each other...

Finally managed to start a math rock band (impossible where I live, took 2 years to find a drummer), and rehearsal/writing is going really well :yay:
Plus I'm seeing Godspeed you! black emperor tonight :omg:
And for the first time in a while I actually don't feel like changing anything about my guitar/pedalboard/amp rig apart from replacing some pesky cables, feels good man :)
