I got a YBA-1 thinking in getting a VI, never did, but damn that's hot af!

That Rick is so sick, I want one of those or a Dakota really badly.
The Atlantis has made me appreciate the walnut on the Dakota much more. What I like about the Atlantis is the finish on the maple neck. The Dakota just has a light oil finish so it's almost impossible to keep clean.

I'm tossing around the idea of putting a Delta or Black Widow in the Ampeg cab. It's not that I don't like what's in there now -- it just doesn't thump in the really low notes like I'd prefer. Maybe I could also try a graphic bass equalizer -- while that doesn't solve the volume problem, it may at least help me shape it closer to what I want. This is really only used for recording anyway.
I think I may also need to take the YBA-1 in to Chicago Music Exchange. For some reason the circuit breaks and has to be reset all the time, especially when It's cranked.
I think I posted this video before but here's what it sounds like. The dirt is coming from an EH LPB-2UBE preamp. Recording was done with my phone and a Røde iXY condenser.

Ahh that’s fair, I want a Dakota for the same/opposite reason. I love oil finishes and put them on everything I build. I want to build a Dakota shaped bass.

Setup at an arts exhibition. One rig for the skinny strings (all the way on the right) and 3 rigs for my bass.
(The stuff on the ironing board went through the MusicMan amps).

So I picked up two amps the other day for $50 total (I'll post pics next time someone with a smart phone comes by), but I'm having trouble finding info on them. I got a Peavy Standard 260 and a Gorilla gg110, either worth keeping? Can you play bass on the Gorilla without tearing the shit out of it?

Picked up this silverface Fender Champ today.
I already love how light, small, and quiet it is. It's so funny being able to turn it up to 7 and not having to worry about bothering my neighbors.
