I just seated mine into the 6u case I got from Behndy (thank you!). I spent 20 minutes messing around with it Saturday night before I had to go sleep (thanks for wearing me out baby and 3.5 year old).

I will say some of it made immediate sense and that I will have the quick start guide in front of me next time. I look forward to comparing notes.

I’m surprised how little media Make Noise has released for the new Rene thus far , I guess that’s coming once it sells out.

yeah. i dunno why. because i LOVES me some sequencers. but Rene never really intrigued me.

so, after i play with the ER-301 and make sure i can set up sample units that work the same way i use the BitBox i WAS going to sell it.

but i just remembered it works pretty damn well as the SynthBox and FXBox. so. going to play with those firmwares tonight.

I play my first modular live set on Saturday with the below rig. The performance should last about ten minutes and will feature a lot of drum abuse. Everything's based on a bunch of Trigger Riot patterns ranging from 98 - 248 b.p.m. to summon a chaos shit infant.

There's a lot about it on their instagram, and I've seen articles announcing it on both Resident Advisor and Creating Digital Music so they're definitely creating buzz. During their live stream they mentioned that they're still doing development/revisions up to the very end of the shipping deadline, and that they have a bunch of videos (8 maybe?) in the can. They also said there could be some delay if there's a hardware issue, so my guess is their waiting to release demos and such until they get the OK on their hardware. Plus Tony and Walker are giving in store presentations of Rene this week. Their roll out seems very methodically planned.
