So we bought a TV (I haven't owned one in more than a decade. Not an exaggeration) and it occurred to me that we can hook up my laptop via HDMI and do local co-op. I take the keyboard, my wife takes the 360 controller, and we Nuclear Throne Together for maximum fun. I'll start her on Helldivers next. My Steam wishlist has exploded with local multiplayer games.

Speaking of Vita, it has both Nuclear Throne and Helldivers and I think they'd be incredible on-the-go games.

I am kind of looking forward to the Bioshock Remasters, supposedly they're all free if you owned them all on PC. Could do with another Trilogy playthrough with a bottle of Whisky.

I just posted my ps2 and about a dozen games, including Lunar Silver Star Story and Lunar 2 Eternal Blue, hoping I can get enough for that Vita!

Oh shit, I had no idea about the Remasters

True?
I've been meaning to go back and play the first one again with that code you gave me, Andrew, but Fallout stole my life.
Could definitely go back for a remaster.
And the second one was hectic that'd be cool.

On that topic, the more I play Fallout 4, the more I just want to play the first game.
Not a bad thing, just a thing.

I never played them the first time...what platforms will the remasters be on?

Also, both Lunars and FF V sold. $50. Boom. Only $30 more to get that Vita answer save the world from Shin-Ra once again!!

My Vita is purely my Metal Gear, Final Fantasy 1-9 + Tactics and Resident Evil 1-3 system. Vita is hella underrated, especially for those types of games. Though as average as FFVII: Crisis Core was, I really don't know why it isn't on PSN it was totally a PSP system seller way back then.

Finally got my 'Foxiest Of The Hounds' achievement in DX:MD, 3rd playthrough. Kind of sucks that you can fail getting the trophy if you happen to choose one option over another without knowing it after you've completed it.

I just spent two days at Tokyo Game Show, but working as tech support for my project, i.e. in a small room all day with just enough free time to grab lunch quickly, say hello to a couple of friends aaaaand that's it. So I couldn't play any not-yet-released game this year... Still, it's interesting to see big trade show booths from the inside. There's lots of corridors and control rooms that you can't see from outside :).

Daaaaw, Bioshock Remastered has been crashing like crazy for me. I don't want to go all shitty entitled gamer and swamp Steam reviews. But it was free and the game does look a lot less muddy and is still very, very pretty.

I'm kind of tempted to buy it on PS4 because 3 great games in one package is still a good deal. Though, it just kind of sucks that all the good games now are Remasters or get replayed 5 times.

Worst game generation thus far.

I've been going back and buying $10-15 used games from the start of this generation that I missed back on PS3. I've still got Watch Dogs and the two expansions for Sleeping Dogs (which was excellent on many points).

I also still have Fallout 4, but I was so unimpressed I barely played more than an hour or 3 before I gave it up. It's not good.

I downloaded it last night and haven't gotten to it yet.
The package is pretty cheap man.

Also every fucking rad game I want is dirt cheap on steam and my credit card and bank account are absolutely maxed.
Lame.

Damn I need to pick that up—1 and 2 are still some of my favorite games ever (esp 1), but never got around to playing Infinite. Next game purchase.

There are much more interesting gaming experiences available than to continue to retread the same games from recent years. There is no nostalgia, just sort of a new coat of digital paint. The whole "vote with your dollar" thing applies here. Smaller games have been more rewarding to me this generation, maybe it is just me and not the state of games, or maybe a mix of both.

I can't help but feel slighted as a console gamer, asking us to pay $60 for the remastered Bioshock trilogy while offering fee upgrades to Steam users. Bioshock was supposed to be backwards compatible and it was pictured in an Xbox One backwards compatibility ad. My panties are slightly bunched because I own all three of those games digitally on the 360. On the other hand, I just played through Infinite and Bioshock 2 last year and I never feel compelled to revisit games I have played too recently.

It wasn't great to me but I slogged through all of it. The story had some interesting moments and the shooting is much improved over Fallout 3. Settlement building did not appeal to me at all, and it reminded me that I could be doing real work on my real house instead of wasting my time in a digital world. In fact, collecting junk goes against who I am as a person, so I found that the loot grind to be exhausting. Basically I discovered this game isn't for me, but I played through the end. I sold the game before even getting all the DLC with the season pass, and I will never purchase another season pass until I know if I like a game or if the contents are announced.

Sorry for the negativity. For the positive: Rocket League works again. The Telltale Batman series has the 2nd episode out this week, the first one was interesting enough that I think I will see it through. Think I might also pickup Batman Arkham Knight while it is on sale. Firewatch and The Witness are coming to the Xbone this month, along with some other smaller/interesting games. And I may have played enough games to put together my personal top ten of 2016 with the caveat that it was games that I played this year, not just released this year.

Same. I've started it twice and then for whatever reason got distracted and forgot to keep playing.
