Here are the symptoms:
-I'm not getting high end oscillation on most of the switch positions. I'm still getting the sub-oscillations.
-Initially, there was only 1 or 2 switch combinations that would make no sound at all. Now there's like 4 or 5.
-on the whole the pedal is less gainy, eventhough some settings feel exactly the same as ever

If you guys have any idea, that would be much appreciated! It could be just one component that needs to be changed but I have no clue about that.
Thanks a ton, keeping an eye on the next available 87 in the meantime ;-)

Thanks man! That's helpful. I wrote an e-mail to Hirofumi, and might try my luck at the DIY section.

Nice :thumb:
I think once I got my lal trio of the green monster, tone axe and oscillo 88 I lost interest in looking at other noisey pedals.. there just isn’t much you can’t do at that point :omg:
How is the Tone Axe? It's maybe the only LAL which I never could get high with.
My other to go brand for noise pedals is MASF :animal:
The best way to explain the tone axe is that it's is the closest pedal tonally to the Moog freqbox but is also a nasty, glitchy, fuzz at the same time, but also like the freqbox it is cantankerous controlewise

Keep in mind I am going to put out a remix of this one [this is just the demo mix] soon on a whole album of this type of stuff, but other than the high synth and drums this is all tone axe

If somebody wonders, I'm selling this Green Monster.
https://reverb.com/item/56669817-lastga ... ster-green
SOLD!

I decided to sell this one, since I now own a DIY clone, which I've assembled myself thanks to Dino at Deadend FX and their amazing PCBs (I supplied him the pictures to track the circuit). In case you wonder the Deadend FX clone 'Zilla totally nails the GM, and expands its noise capabilities with a switch to blast the pedal gain to almost infinity :!!!:

Wow! That’s the first I’ve seen more beat up than mine…. Weird, it has the same circular mark on the face…

After 8 billion years, I finally found a Steroid OD. It's... pretty cool.

That's nice!
I've got a new pcb from Deadend FX: the Shillelagh, which is like a "an expended clone" of the 046 Sooperfuzz.
I really love the 046, I own one since ages and actually I was thinking to get a second one, so when I saw this clone pcb I decided to give it a try.
I have all the parts, I just need to find the time to solder.

Btw Deadend FX they have many Lastgasp clones in their catalog.

Had eyes on the 88 pcb, too—that one always fascinated me.

Seeing this thread I must share the Deviltail, aka. dod death metal w/ a gain knob, became my main distortion as soon as I got it years ago. I can crank the mids into the heavens and manipulate feedback in fun ways, and all the eq knobs are trims so I can set it and forget it. I love it and I want more Lastgasp now. Such a fun builder.
