Very cool. Are they really light guitars?

Yeah, there's only a center block of wood in it, to transfer between the neck, and the tailstock. It's actually quite well balanced. The only other wood in it is small blocks for the screws that secure the back. Everything else is hollow. Getting the binding on is a bit of a trick, but a hair dryer set hot to soften it, and some sticky tape does the job. I'm not a fan of strings that sit a mile of the deck, but that's the deal with these. Take it, or leave it. Takes some getting used to.
I'm hoping to plug it into the Univox 1050 tomorrow, try them both out. The amp looks ready to go, minus some finishing touches. Probably stick a Hen's Tooth Cafe BMP in there for good measure.

That is awesome, it looks great. Very Airline-ish!
Here's my ILF guitar, revamped. First Act bridge Humbucker, pickguard cut from a storage bin. Old Teisco neck from hbombgraphics along with an old Teisco bridge. Tailpiece is from a bass, drilled pot holes for the strings. The body is super cheap and totally the worst wood I've ever encountered. GFS clearance!

Unf. Dan Armstrongs are great. Too heavy for me but fuck do I love them. And the lighting there, I've never seen one look sexier.
