i can only imagine how hawt this computer will be when i bump the RAM up from the standard 4GB to 16GB, which i can do for like $120. then i can finally get to work on tunage in earnest.

still falling in love with the computer...i'm having trouble with the trackpad that's supposed to read multiple gestures, but that's the price you alweays pay for cool and neew is a learning curve. i can hardly wait to fuck around in GarageBand with 4G of memory.

Dude, I experienced the same thing. Now one year later it feels prehistoric every time I use a normal mouse at work.

Just got word I get to borrow a friend's sitar indefinitely. He has it hanging in his shop and admitted that although he has all sorts of learning material (books, dvds, etc) he never took the time to figure it out. I'm stoked because I have wanted to learn for a few years now. Picking it up Saturday.

tomorrow we're playing a gig we kind of don't want to play in the end... because it's a competition and the bands are cunts

but on the other hand, next week we're playing a gig in a town we've never played before with my friend's awesome funk band cool stuff, way more chill and straight than our experimental-proggy shit, but still very close to our roots i'd say

can't wait

also i fucking LOVE the tone with new strings on my jazzy makes me want to never stop playing
