 Those guitars look good (because they're based on old designs), but I'm not interested anymore. :snax:

Got a second Dirge strat. This one is way jankier in a good way. Twangy as hell, light as a feather, good for lo-fi goodness.

That design work is cool as hell

Sample tone. It starts to get a little too out of tune for chords above the 7th fret.

Family shot of my 3 Dirge guitars. Each has a very different tonality and play to it.

No way, it's all mine. :excellent:

That is, by far, my most played guitar. Nice comfy contours. Full sounding, thick, warm, alumitone humbucking neck pickup. I added the Creamery custom Sonic 60 bridge pickup. that can bite and cut through most things. And any combination of the two with the stacked cts pots with vintage caps for tone. The thing loves every pedal I have.

Its a first act bridge humbucker running through a warped vinyl set mildly, a gravitas simple square wave tremolo, and a space echo re-150 doing a slap delay.

They are fairly inexpensive pickups if you want to seek them out.

After showing a picture of that white Dirge Strat to my buddy he wants me to do something similar to his old Squier Strat. I feel inspired to do something drastic.

One pickup, wired straight to the jack. Too cool.

Thank guys. T'was fun to do.
Just a cheapo Squier body and homemade neck (I think) with a mishmash of parts & components ranging in quality from bargain-bin to top-shelf and everything in between. Whatever was at hand. My wife and I had already split the States for the season before I could string it up and intonate it, but it would seem my boy already took care of that based on the photo. The concept came from a picture my kid found online. The guitar was a lefty, though.....and we just cobbled together a righty. All props for any cool-factor go to the unknown builder of the lefty.
