This is sick. I love the middle pickup on a strat. Would love to hear one wired directly to the output like this.

Hey folks, this is my first post here on ILF
My first guitar ever:

It's a cheap beginners pack Ibanez Strat, but I love it. It's always been my "crazy scientist" victim, It's still the guitar I probably play most of the time.
Tuned: B E A D F# B | Sometimes I also drop it to either Drop A or just drop the lowest string to whatever I want like F# or another E
My Dean Dime Razorback:

The guitar that so far feels most comfortable to play to me in therms of the position it fits in my body in relation to anything I have ever played.
Usually tuned to: B F# B F# B E but yesterday I restringed it with D'addario 24-84 Bass VI strings and have been playing it in F A# D# G# C F or E A D G B E
My Dean Evo Phantom:

Wasn't a big fan of Les Paul's but got this dirt cheap used and fell in love with it. Tuned: C G C G C E but sometimes I tune it back to standard E.
My Bass VI:

I have swapped the bridge for one I built myself but don't have a pic of that yet. Tuned to bass standard E and sometimes half a step up like the razorback is at the moment.

very cool stuff
and some serious down tuning going on
can you list all the mods on the ibanez?

Thanks man, downtune all the way

I might have a serious problem with it though
Well I have messed with it so much I'm not sure I remember everything
I drew the shape, cut and fixed the pickguard in place myself. I swapped the strap pins for a locking system like Zakk Wylde had and got the upper part of the strap to attach to the end of the neck so it would feel more like my razorback or an SG. I had to glue and fix the nut the first time I tried to get a thicker gauge to downtune it to B back in the day and the nut just snapped and parts of it flew away because of the low B tension

I locked it's trem (and the floyd rose on the razorback as well) though sometimes I unlock it to do some Dive bomb drones.
I have had a bunch of different pickup configurations on it and had a volume killpot, a push/pull 20dB boost tone pot and a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker, but now it's back to the normal 5 position SSH strat with the original pickups and pots, and knobs from my pedals (the Dimebucker is in the razorback where it belongs).
Whoever I'm saving for a Seymour Duncan P-Rail with a Triple Shot and fender 5 way super switch and am going to put my Bass VI bridge singlecoil in this guys neck position with the killpot and boost back

Did you make your own bridge or your own bridge PU? Either way, that collection is sick.

Thanks

I made my own metal bridge cuz the ones stock on the squier's buzz and create a bunch of unwanted overtones and are hard to intonate properly

Ran out of money and time, so I had to stop taking piano lessons.
Sold my keyboard so now I have some pocket money, and a highly coveted squier affinity tele and mustang amp. Feels weird playing guitar again.
