How do you like Planar 2? The original Planar was one of my first modules but the CV record function just seems SO RAD on the new one.

i like it a LOT. i would enjoy it more if it was 2-4 1 separate out CV recordings, like one for Out A, one for Out B, etc over a single 4 dimensional CV recording.

but it is FUN.

also, i reallllly want to get an Erica Synths Bassline. curious on their take on 303 style with MORE. sub osc out GOOD. kinda sucks that the prebuilt has a detune while the DIY has a distortion instead of the detune. and DIY is 2 hp bigger. iiiiiii think i'd dig the distortion more than the detune.

Anyone use Bubblesound stuff? CTRL finally has some in stock. Specifically the Dual SeM20 Filter.

only used a VCA and the Asteroid Kick from them. VCA. was a'ight? Kick was prettttty bland.

I have the 141, it does a lot for 6HP so I like it. Love the tough knobs. I wasn't a fan of the knob style on pedals, but I like them on the black module in the rack now. Would definitely check out some more.

I had zero interest in the Rainmaker...had...

I was already thinking about moving my Nebulae to a separate rack. If I move the DLD too, I'd have room for the Rainmaker with 4hp to spare....hmmm

i'm having... SOMETHING.... done to my MDLR case. so i've been dicking around with a temp setup in 6u of my DNGR:TECH case and

01) fuck ME i missed the Akemie's Taiko. silly to not use it. it's just good at every single setting.

02) as cool as it is to have ASR envelopes into VCAs in 1u, it's just better with a Quadra and Tangle Quartet. when i rebuilt i was going to put the SSM back in, but dunno. think i want the Quad/TQ more.

Not sure I really agree with what you're implying here. I feel like their modules are all a really good size actually. I mean, if you made the Rainmaker any smaller, it would probably be unusable because it would be so crowded. Hell, if you made any of their modules smaller, they would become pretty much unusable

NE AI is the noise/snare, ER-301 is the root third melody.

The quadra and expander should really be smaller than 24 hp. Really, the expander should just be like 6 hp. Quadra by itself is a really nice size.
