I don't play many video games, but while visiting my brother last week he got me addicted to Undertale.

I beat it twice in two days.

Not to mention that if you are at all interested then you have to preorder it immediately or have fun dealing with the usual eBay powersellers selling for twice the price. Because Nintendo is well known for making excessive amounts of Hardware and Software.

Yeah, STILL can't get one of these things. Fine with me since I do a ton of emulation anyhow but for those that want one, dumb.

From what i can gather, it's $470 here. 299USD is like 400AUD right now so that kind of sucks but I was kind of expecting worse.

I know I mentioned this before with regards the the nes classic, but retropie is rad and not too hard to get going if anyone's really sad they can't get their hands on the actual hardware. Granted to have to fuck around with a Raspberry Pi and get your own controllers and all that but it's totally worth it.

So Mario is interacting with "real" people now in a hub between fantastical levels?

Soooo, Nintendo said "Sonic Adventure was good. Let's do that almost 20 years later." (For the record I have a soft spot for SA, but it was sort of the beginning of the now notorious decline for the series)

I'll be an early adopter. Zelda is a seller for me. I'd also like get the FIFA game. I enjoy soccer but I need to be immersed more than just the World Cup and copa to really enjoy the game on a consistent basis.

Cool ... I want this to be a success, gotta give credit to Nintendo ... they single-handedly created what we know today as the video game market (the Atari era before them died off) ... and they debuted the nes during the depths of the crash of the video game market ...
