PFFR is such a weird collective of artists. They do Delocated now with Williams Street, I think.
Yeah, they also did some other show that I can't remember the name of, but was seriously underrated. It was the one with the weird dog-man-guy with a snake hand wandering through the desert. Great Adult Swim style show, seems idiotic and trite at first, but once you understand the characters and really get into the dialogue its the funniest shit ever.
I'm a huge fucking Adult Swim junkie (watching it right now). IMO they've only put on two bad shows ever: Fat Guy Stuck in the Internet and Loiter Squad. If I were to go crazy and decide the world needed to be rid of one human, it would probably be Tyler the D-Bag.
I could honestly go on about Adult Swim forever, so I will...in a new thread.
Wondershowzen was awesome. I loved the episode that played the first half, decided it was a mistake then played the whole 12 minute half in reverse. Also, that show produced the greatest gif the internet has ever seen:

Xavier: Renegade Angel was the greatest show. Also, that episode was about Patience...and the whole episode was testing the audience's patience.
what DOTH life?

Making it a point to go see this show next Friday.

Mootsy's is a hella tiny bar and one of my favorite places to play and see bands play; Mercy Brown and Hooves are staffed by good friends of mine. I've not heard Ben Verellen's band before now and I like what I hear. Still gotta look into Aranya but regardless; should be a good show.

Everybody smiling all the time and people dancing, girls with shiny eyes (and a nice ass in one particular case) people mad drunk and an all around good time. Got home past 6 in the morning after getting drunk on vodka with champagne and juice (call it a cocktail if you must), dancing some with the nice ass (that was loyal to a boyfriend) and pretty much having a really good time.
It was a super nice evening! Thank you so much!
The people and the other band guys were all super nice! Awesome!
phantasmagorovich wrote:Univalve gave us the honor to come and play with his band Analog Pattern Robots. So good, check him out if he ever gets close to you. He also had good ideas on how to get our bassist to play some fx. And is by far the most thorough and courteous critic I've ever encountered. He told me lots of things about our show, some very good input and all presented in a way that could not be taken as offence. *Edit*, because I keep forgetting this because I am dead tired today, he also brought me four pedals to try out! Badass! Prometheus DLX, New Second Voice, Mini Fuck and STEP. Whoa! So much fun stuff to try out. /*Edit*
I enjoyed your show a lot. Great songs with super ideas. Good, that the "bitchin' on high level" worked out polite

Someday you guys should record that stuff properly - i would pay for a decent album of your stuff.
phantasmagorovich wrote:Also, and this is the best, the old guy that owns the place showed up and compared us to the Talking Heads and David Bowie.
FUCK YEAH!!! I GET TO BE DAVID BOWIE IN A HOODIE!
Yeah, i also thought of Bowie - but more of the "Heathen" stuff than the older ones.

Just realized that I can fail one of my classes this semester and still retain my scholarships. Phew!
Got worried because that would be a heavy burden to cover. An E might look bad, but being in debt would be worse. Huge weight off my chest.
Also good: new clothes, shoes, and full pantry.

It's the equivalent of an F. Some schools try to do the proper A, B, C, D, and E. Like why did they skip over it the first time? Just so it stood for "failure?" It isn't like the other letters stood for anything.
But it turns out I might not be anywhere close to failing a course. I somehow got a B on an exam that I was sure I failed. My professor couldn't have been sober. She literally put "Hum... ok..." on one of my essays. Which was kind of amusing because it was utter bullshit and an attempt to have writing down even if it was wrong. But I'll take that.
So I'm in a good mood today.

Maybe she recognized that it was bullshit, but when formulated bullshit.

No, it was just bullshit bullshit. Vague and just rewriting the same stuff over and over.
I'm guessing she just graded everything easily because it's her first class here.
