Denny's was ok, got a meatball sub. I definitely wish I had trolled around for a local diner/eatery type place though. I love those kinds of spots.
So I'm chatting on FB with the girlie about our date on Wednesday and I'm kinda excited. And I get the vibe she is too...

Listening to one of my Napalm Death CDs for the first time in forever.
Clearly my taste has always been exquisite.
Also, I want it.

Playing two sets this weekend as part of RVA Noise Fest III. I haven't played out in forever. One set is with my wife and the other is a solo set. It will be nice to get away this weekend and meet up with all my old Richmond dudes.

Napalm is one of the all time great bands. I like everything they've done, including their mid-period proggy slow stuff, but man, the code is red...
SO GOOD!

Stupendously groovy kicks followed by a Barney goes Celtic Frost "ugh", then some blasties.

What you listening to?

I've got a coffee date sort of thing tomorrow. Not really sure what to expect as I haven't done something like this in over a year. Still nice to meet new people though!
Worst case, I have a cup of coffee and a decent conversation. That's still a win.

Met my wife on a coffee date. Well, we met at a party a few weeks before said date, but our first outing together was a coffee date. Probably wasn't even a date. It was just coffee with the possibility of it not being just coffee. Ah whatever, coffee dates rule. Have a good one grey dude.

Coffee dates are the only kinds of dates that are worthwhile. Let's you talk, get to know each other and build up plenty of energy for future boning.
I'm listening to Oslo in the Summertime by Of Montreal right now and at the part where everything cuts in and out I stopped typing, started again with the vocals/instruments, then stopped, then started again.

The thinnest string is almost as big as a standard E.
