if i could find the right people i'd do jazz-gaze...all the mountains of guitar turned down low enough to play with acoustic piano and a four-piece drum kit, using the piano to bring the jazzy part of Brian Wilson's writing (the Heart of Shoegaze) to the fore.

I was used as a ruler today.
Some lady in a thrift store was trying to figure out how tall this Christmas tree was, for whatever reason. So she called me over and I thought she was gonna get me to put a decoration on top or whatever. But nah.
She asked me how tall I was and then told me to stand next to it.
Wat.
Now I feel like there's gotta be some kind of human measuring stick fetish out there somewhere. People getting off to the human-to-object scale.
