Actually I think I am going to go with this silly putty type stuff for us all. Upon further analysis I am afraid that sand might scratch their desks and I would get yelled at. I'll still get the sand for myself though, because that's the way I roll.
Plus, they can throw this putty at each other. You can't really do that with sand without blinding the person. I can't afford to be shorthanded going into the new year because January is typically a very busy month for us.

Just a guess but with those speakers up loud enough I'm thinking that the box resonates and vibrates the guitars, especially since they are hollow bodies and with the headstock so close to the speaker. It's like super drone mode?

It is super drone mode. If you look closely, you'll see that the guitars are resting with their head stocks on speakers. I think that's where the feedback will come from. You know that nice droning kind, when you press the headstock of the guit against your speaker enclosure? I'm guessing this is a huge version of the same effect.

Oh my god I can't stop listening to Space Jam remixes and mashups. A few every day. Thanks, DoS. Thanks a lot.

Surfing the internet is more fun with a drone commander. Every few minutes I tweak a knob or something, let it run, then do it again a few minutes later. Mmmph.

We've been bonded by shared suffering.
Glorious, Quad City suffering.

Also I've never seen this Space Jam you speak of, I spent a long time avoiding it even though the soundtrack came out when I worked in a record store...
