Sounds like a plan, an evil plan.

Just don't forget your earplugs!

felt like in the past week I have died as a musician and I am starting from square one.
Like when I first picked up a bass at 18.

Went to the local comic convention and got to meet C. Martin Croker (Space Ghost Coast to Coast, ATHF) and talk to Tim Seeley (Revival, Hack/Slash.)
Fun times.

Set up my best guitar for a higher tuning (D standard) tonight. I haven't played in a tuning this high, or with strings this thin, in something like three years. The action on it is soooooooooo nice. It's going to play so fucking fast. Stoked.

lol, even drop D is low for me.

Although, one time I put bari strings on my jazzy and played in B standard with my second voice and 120W Kramer head into a 4x12. For the kind of stuff I typically play, that whole setup was insanely impractical, but it was fun as hell. Rocked out to a bunch of The Faint songs, I remember The Conductor kicking particular ass.
Unfortunately I never filed down the nut on the low string spot so a chunk broke off.

Still haven't have the money to fix it, but it still works fine.
Totally different note, I'm hanging out with a grrrl tomorrow night (technically tonight, I just haven't gone to bed yet) and I is excited.

You know what tonight was? It was business time

There was something that I thought was really weird about it, but I feel even weirder posting about that part of it here. So, yeah... if anyone's interested shoot me a pm and we can talk about it.

Had a jam yesterday with a couple friends and it turned into us jamming on some new punk shit. I'm excited for it, we'll probably end up turning that shit into a setlist.

Definitely among my favorite Concords tracks.
She kept trying to put glass in the garbage. I kept telling her all we have to do is go drop the glass in the recycle bins by the grocery store. Ugh.

This is easily one of the greatest feelings in the world!

Just got home from buying an engagement ring for the girlfriend! Probably going to pop the question wednesday afternoon. The only shitty part is that with the money I just dropped on the ring, I could have bought myself a decent guitar, or better yet put down the deposit on an amazing guitar. Oh well, there will be more gear money in the future.
Oh, and on another positive, I may have a lead on a cheap Traynor YBA-1 head.
