From what I’ve read, certain policies are not covering loses because they do not have a revision for riots. It would fall under theft, so maybe these are people who didn’t carry enough insurance either on their products. I know it’s cheap though for sure because I have to pay for it. I’m not sure. I read that. Maybe I’m wrong there. It’s all been so messy I haven’t bothered to try to validate it either. I should have probably not said it.

yeah I've heard that as well Jwar so it's definitely not an uncommon thing: insurance policies decimated a lot of the festivals because they didn't specifically have Pandemic (or whatever the name of the type of insurance that is) cover.

My policy definitely has an exclusion for infectious disease, which felt like a huge blow-out a few months ago, but looting and rioting should definitely fall under the basic theft and damage provisions of virtually every policy. I'm not surprised to hear insurance companies are trying not to pay, though. Why wouldn't they be huge scumbags at a time like this?

Insurance companies are scum bags in my eyes. I'll give you a for instance that really pisses me off. If I have an empty property, they want to charge me more money for coverage versus when it's occupied. I questioned why and they told me the risk is increased. I said how? They couldn't answer me. I said "don't you think having someone in there increases your liability versus it being empty? There's no one in there. No one can get hurt. That makes no sense." My agent actually agreed with me so he looked the other way on one that I have empty right now. Seriously, how the fuck something going to happen when no one is there? Break ins? OK. There's neighbors and that could happen anyway.

Chank is right though. I asked about loss of income for the pandemic and they had zero to offer. Had my bank not done what they did, I would be probably bankrupt right now. I'm not kidding. So, I'm thankful for my loan officer. Which feels weird because banks can be bastards too. So can lawyers. I chewed my lawyers ass yesterday. God, I'm so fucking angry right now I can't help it. It's like I'm going on a fucking rampage and kicking all the asses I needed to kick for a long time. Figuratively of course.





So, I want to ask. Who's the candidate this time for you all? I'm not voting for Trump and I don't think I can vote for Biden either. They both are just terrible human beings and have a long history to support that. Both racist, both creepy with women, both going senile and cannot keep things straight, both manipulate every situation to their benefit....etc. I feel like we will never win as citizens until the empire is toppled and redone. New party system, not new world order.

A third party will not win and Trump is completely unacceptable, so with a hearty "bleh" I'm gonna have to go for Biden.

I'm not American and I totally get that it's irritating to have to choose the lesser of two evils (also have that problem here) but in this case one of them is significantly more evil and is currently advocating turning the military on peaceful protesters! So I think it's pretty important to register and vote for the other guy.

Well, I am registered, I just mean that because of COVID, like if it spreads more, we may not be able to hit the poles. My sister never got her mail in ballot either. They just told her "sorry". The Governor of MO also said that if you don't feel comfortable coming out to vote, then don't. I'm in KS, but I'm right next to the state line. That's fucked up. Hoping Laura Kelly has some kind of intelligent plan here if that happens. She's way fucking better than Brownback was. Good God. Glad I voted for her.

Fucking madness, here the polls are open for two weeks. You can vote whenever you want and can even just rock up and enrol at the polling station on the day.
