It's blown my mind how many people say they had never heard of Juneteenth before this year.
Juneteenth always has the best street parades and block parties. None of the July 4th nine-hour parade bullshit, short and sweet and then let's eat barbecue and drink Dos Equiis.

I just heard a radio ad promoting some stupid Trump book and the announcer was like "antifa wants to destroy America and take your freedoms...but TRUMP has a SECRET PLAN to win the election and restore justice!!!"
Worded just like that and said sincerely. It's like a shit post but in real life. Real people who have the ability to vote actually find this to be a sound argument for voting for him and it drives me crazy.
And his SECRET PLAN is just good old voter suppression and hoping that covid-19 kills enough blue voters to tip the scale.

This is a concerning post and I hope you have a therapist or someone besides ILF that you check in with when you are feeling this way. It's good of you to try to protect your sister from herself, but I don't think you can call it a solution if you take her place on the firing line.
