Someone on my local CL posted about wanting to get a Post-Rock inspired group together, and he's a drummer :!!!:

Post rock drummers are the shit. One of the best (and loudest) drummers I ever played with was a post rock drummer. He actually lives just down the road from me now, but he sold his kit when he moved across the country.

It's always really nice seeing bands you've wanted to for years. :joy: I just found my ipod that I thought I lost months ago under the sofa cushions! Yesssssss, I'm super glad I didn't bother buying a new one now.

Being Perth born the fact that I have never seen Karnivool is actually ridiculous, they played pretty much every god damn rock festival in the early to mid 2000's. It was them and Shihad but while I somehow managed to miss Karnivool I saw Shihad every freaking time.

you know, being from Europe is kind of problematic because I love Karnivool and Cog but i never got to see Cog before they broke up and Karnivool only got here about now :lol:

totally worth the waiting though

Aw man, I totally saw Cog. It must of been the year their first album came out and I remember absolutely nothing about the set apart from the fact that I really wanted a snow cone. Good music was thoroughly wasted on me back then.
