Ugh, yep. BOTH! If you're gonna do something... do it right, as they say!
@D.o.S. - vacuums suck.

So After 24/26 years i'm back in the game. Got a Mob cruiser Style Board about 6 weeks ago. The First days were Hardcore: i was sweating like a mofo because of being unsure and frithened. I also fell on my ass and had two weeks of pain....
But whatever, it now works pretty good. I'm skating to the band practice and i'm enjoying it!
Today i got vans sk8 mid and the board control moved one step up.
Next goal: learning ollie again.

I have been thinking about getting into it again... I wouldn't want to do stairs, gaps or any of the stupid shit that I used to.
I think the happiest time of my life was building a fun box then skating it all day. I'd love to build myself a grind box again, skate maybe once or twice a week.

yeah the wheels i intentionally got for more cruising than tricks...i can still ollie's and other old school tricks with them...which is the kind of skating i want to do, to keep my body safe!

I hear ya. I don't do tricks (tech/flip tricks at least). Just like to be able to slide when I need to

skating transition. I have a main setup, and then one more like yours for when I'm cruising or ditch skating. That being said, my main board is what most would consider a cruiser

(check out Welcome Skateboards)

Saw that the other day: very rad. If there's one thing I can't stand about skating and shredding it's how much monkey see monkey do goes on -- like, why the fuck would you put out a video part with similar tricks after you see someone else do it? Wouldn't you just want to be creative on your own?

Yeah I kinda stopped following skating for a while because I just kept seeing the same flip tricks down the same sets and gaps. But Instagram has been surprisingly awesome for finding people doing cool shit. barcelona_skateboarding and skatecrunchmag feature a lot of good skaters.
Joe Moore being one of them.

Damn he killed it! Always liked Richie's style.
Gou Miyagi is another one with a unique flare.
