Obviously just tune it down a full step and split the difference

It's a mojo foil and a firebird pickup from oil city (it's actually the neck pickup from a set). In the uk, we're spoilt for choice when it comes to pickup winders.

I was thinking of building a Tele with gold foils or tv jones pups and a short scale. What's your opinion on the foils?
