mannnnnnn the record function on the Tetrapads looks GOOD.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B14QXO6Bmgd ... 36etx8rl2s

makes me want to grab one again.

but i'd need it in black.

and would have to shuffle a ton of stuff on the bottom row.

Mimeophon vs Erbe-verb?

even though they are reverbish delay vs reverb that has delay-ish functions, I know. which one would you rather be stuck with?
I have only used Mimeophon but it's one of my favorite modules, especially from Make Noise. It has a lot of utility to it aside from the cool delay stuff. I really like using it as a simple looper or reverb in addition to the delays. It's a very "playable" module, too - which I've found to be the case with all of the newer Make Noise modules but this one is particularly simple to tweak and get cool results. Stereo ins and outs is a huge plus for me since most of my modular operations are in stereo.
I go back and forth on this.

I love the sounds I get out of the erbe, but I find myself lazy with patching it (except when that’s the main focus).

Then again, it’s amaze and it would suck to not have it there. Hard life.
Erbeverb is essential - to me. but i'm also rarely using it as a traditional reverb. i find it excels, or at least seems to always stumble into, collapsing feedback sounds. makes for great percussion as well - great big beating heart being turned inside out.

Chronoblorb? Sonveskan? Dark Matter?

murrrrrr. i went through all my loot and listed everything i don't use. set aside a few things for Vigorous Workout To Decide and gonna list my SWN and QuBit Chord2. both are nifty, i just don't click with the interface.

got the new (last for awhile) NoiseEng distortion incoming. the dual recitfier buggerboo? and it loooooks like a trade for a Linnanus. which would mean i have more than one row's worth of Rossum Electro loots. yay?

murrrrrr. i want a sample and hold. trying to see if ADDAC offers the 215 as an assembled module. wannnnnt.

i dunno man. i've had Woggle two? three times? kinda.... hate it.

and i know it goes against the whole modular idea of using tangentially connected purposes in new and exciting ways to make one module do the work of many but.... i roll way better with something that does what it says?

lol. probably speaks to either my impatience or inexperience or... both? but yeah. best to realize one's limitations?

lol. see. that makes me feel DUMB for not digging it.

i can't understand what it's doing. mostly because MN layout/design is like... anti-intuitive for me. actively obtuse?

..... i don't like MN stuff.

Woggle Explanations - lol. yeah. i mean. i looked up the manual, i watched vids, i... sort of got it to... things? but like all MN stuff, i just feel no connection to it.

Morpheus Rings ramble - thanks! yeah. Metron makes it quick and fun to program in variations on an idea. i liiiiike it.

EVERYTHING BLACK.

well. every other thing black. i dig the alternating black/silver rows.

lol. is it odd hp? it's probably odd hp. i bet it's odd hp.

i don't understand why, but there are companies i love using their loot, and companies i.... just.... don't. and it's never the fault of the ones i don't like. they have amazing sounding gear, the interface looks fine, i get supee jigglied about owning their stuff but.... after mupling for a bit.... no. no thank you. no thank you good suh.

unfortunately, Harvestman joins 4ms, QuBit and Make Noise for me. soft pass.

Yeah, that there Bionic Lester looks amazing. I also have no space for it at the moment but perhaps one day. Harvestman (or IME?) is one of those manufacturers I wouldn't mind having a go at all their modules. I bet as a "complete system" their stuff absolutely wrecks face. Right now, I only rock a Piston Honda mk2 from them but I love it dearly and would not get rid of it unless I had an Emergency.

I have fallen off my synthesizer grind and have not touched my synthesizers in a few weeks, at first due to travel, and at last due to issues surrounding motivation and time. I need to :poke: myself back into my grind, fellows, esp. since I've been running the Elektron A4 alongside the eurorack modular synthesizer; an excellent combination!

vidret wrote:go play with that piston honda, you lucky synthesist you.

The external in looks really fun, the mk2 line-up of oscillators are so damn cool. But yeah, gotta get 2 IME/bastl/befaco/whatever so the HP evens out
The Erica Pico series is my favorite hp evener because small and inexpensive.

also, want to try a Tetrapad now that it has record. BKM Bryan dooder thinks he can do black panels, so ordered one to him, he'll send to me after measuring and such.

THIRD TIME IS A CHARM?
