After making two oddball guitars, and a baritone, I still only want to go back to the baritone because of how I've tuned it...... sorry newly built guitar, but you're an inanimate object and don't have feelings to hurt.

I was at the jungle gym with my little sister tonight. Some kid fell real hard on top of one of the platforms and stumbled all the way down to the grond level and stammerd a few feet and flipped over crying in the most dramatic way posssible. Looked like he just took a round in the leg or something.
Anyway after some time I realized his parents were never going to hear him and were a mile away/didnt care. all the other kids just stared at him in silence doing nothing. SO I had to be an adult and find the kids mom ( wasnt too far away luckily). He was given a sweater and administered a juice box and I think he will make a full recovery.
I saved a life today guys, feels good.

Just moved into my first home. The Mrs has allowed the 2nd bedroom as a guitar room/pedal lab.
The neighbours are tolerant, and I can ride my skateboard to 3 guitar shops within 10 minutes of my pad. STOKED!

nice!
applied for a job as a library assistant at the local high school. i'm actually qualified for the position--i have an AA in Library Information Technology and worked in Bay Area libraries for several years before the higher pay of graphics work pulled me away--and could be more qualified than anyone else in this city of 54,000. i sure hope it works out.
went for a delightful bike ride in the dark of the evening...i'm getting back into riding again. i was a serious bike nerd in the late 90s/early 00s, and it's interesting to watch the knowledge and comfort level come back as i ride more. bike gloves are wonderful, too, for my beaten-up hands and wrists.
i'm beginning to get a structure worked out for living by myself again, trying to eat better and lose weight. i buy quantities of salad veggies and then have to eat them before they go bad, so it's salads most every night. i have thirty pounds to lose and not a casino in sight

And also you're back orbiting in THE ILFIVERSE.
So that's cool.
I just remembered a bassline I never meant to forget.

"More of that Holy Dead Sleepy Mountain Meadow stuff? I'll alert the media."
Brutal.

here are a few pics from my day at red rocks.
someone's got an Earthquaker board! pretty sure this belongs to the lumineers' bass player.
my pedal board got rained on during our line check and then didn't work when we started our set. FID.
i drew a pig on the infamous staircase wall because well that's just my thing that i do.
it was pretty rad to see tons of people going nuts for my friends.

That is a damn fine pun, friend. Also, Skor is better.
Stratos from Norway is the best chocolate product out there.
And I have a good idea.
