so Mr. Behnderson, sir, I noticed that you bought and sold a Panharmonium. May I ask what about it didn't float your bathtub battleship? Was it sonix? interface? just didn't do what you expected? newererer, betterer! loots?

My inquiring mind is being interfaced by my creepy Assistant to the Acquisition Center manager for an offline "purchase strategy" session, but the sparsity of post-release "oh wowowowows" has spilled my nurse-it-all-night gearlust cocktail right down my puffy frock and short-circuited my usual Team Acquisition spirit.... :idk: :snax:

it's got some impressive audio tracking things going on, but i only ever got 2 sounds out of it. it was fun, but wayyyyy too big.

lol. yeah. and i'm not a fan of the Electro Rossum interface. doesn't click intuitively for me?

GET A VULT FREAK. IT'S SO DAMN GOOD.

also, have the LEDRover and Reduxer hitting today. excited to try them, but SUPER excited to have a full rack of happiness. except for the Flux, which is still running as a Kickstarter and won't be out for a bit, i don't have any modules on the way.

i ammmm waiting for that Pulsar-23 still, a Cycles and have a Black Box hitting Friday. and the Converter i had was borked, PC doesn't have any more, so i'm going to grab a Squaver in exchange. but i love where my rack is at, i'm wiggly about playing with some hardware boxes and integrating Euro stuff with external stuff, i don't really want anything else right now?

i LIKE it.

edit - ....... and foundna Bastl Dude! wanted something easy and small to pop hardware boxes into a channel on the Performance Mixer. oh and you can distort the shit of inputs and make them fight for space in the Crunchy Anger Space? OKAY.

I got some new Loot.

Pam's New Workout. 1st impressions = ppl who complained about the menu-diving seem strange to me because there's only one layer of menu and it's the easiest thing ever to use? Anyway, rules hard for putting down the Euclid and putting out the LFOs. Yeuh boi.

ADDAC T-Networks. Sounds very good, very analog drum machine for true and authentic warmth and flavor.

nanoRings. I thought Rings was a bobo module for hobos due to its popularity and the samey fuckin' nature of what ppl seem to do with it. Anyway, it fuckin' rules and I wish I got one earlier. Perfect for creating folk melodies.

2hp ARP. Creates arpeggios for the nanoRings and since it actually does that I like it a lot. This is my first non-broken 2hp module, praise b 2 him.

Erica Dual FX. It has two slots of 8 Spinchip FX each. If you only use input one, it stax the FX for major boom. The FX sound fuckin' dope to me. I have had the Erica Pico DSP for a long time and enjoy some of the algos greatly. The Dual FX algos also seem to rule though I don't know what I'm going to do with the one called "RIPPER" or whatever. RIPPER!!!!!!!!!!

Lastly, I will complain that FedEx said they were going to drop my Viol Ruina off today but then said the Viol Ruina is stuck in Utah. How did this happen??? I hope it arrives tomorrow because filtering nanoRings through it is going to create black metal.

Totally agree on Pam’s and Rings. They’re everywhere for good reason. You need to tell Utah to get it together cause I need to hear how you like the Viol Ruina. That’s on my short list since I need a filter, distortion and I have 4hp to spare.

i'm HELPING!

Pam's is in some ways THE BEST MODULE EVER MADE. i haven't even thought about taking her out of my system since we met, i wouldn't put together even a tiny one without her, i have two and two of the 4 hp expanders. she's the best clocking resetting brain of a system, sync'd LFOs or random or Euclideans. PERFECT.

Dual FX is TITS. never clicked with the Pico DSP, Dual has so many good sounds. annnnd stackable.. MEOW.

Rings is amazeeeeballlllls. i think i have 3 of them? because i'm DUMB.

Viol Ruina is very nice. not a bad way to spend 4 hp.

the VoicAs LEDRover and Reduxer are freaking GOOD.

How is the Viol Ruina as a plain old filter? Is it always dirty, or can it do clean as well? All the demos seem to focus on the extreme, but I’m looking for versatility.

I can't get a clean sound out of Viol but maybe that's user error.

I like it so far. It does what it says; be a nasty fuckin' filter with distortion on tap. The modulation options are kind of goofy to me but definitely fun to fuck around with.

The Viol Ruina sounds good with both the T-Networks and Rings going through it. If you send Rings through it, you can get into some really wild territory.

Pam's is super great and I can't believe how small it is but nothing can replace Trigger Riot in my heart or rig for clock functions. After so long with Trigger Riot, I'm actually getting slower at programming it rather than faster because I've started to understand some of the deeper functions. :?:

behndy; I like your acid day jams. I also rock a TB-3 when the need for acieed becomes apparent. It's rad and I love the randomize feature.

yeah. played a bit. noooot the best at clean filtering. dirty as hell for 4 hp though.

just ordered a Novation Launchkey Mini Mk3. a little worried about it not having a MIDI or clock in, but i rarely change tempo whilst jamming a song, and i plan to use it as a live style playing interface, so as long as it agrees with Pam's what 138 bpm is, should be solid.

i am MOIST about the different odd arpegiation options.

Thanks for the reviews on the Viol y’all. Sounds really cool but maybe not the most versatile option in my case. I’m trying to stick with two Intellijel 4U cases, since limitations please me.

Here’s a promising dirt option that was announced yesterday from Recovery: https://recoveryeffects.com/products/ba ... lar-device

At $79 It feels like a no brainer.
