They do both. 2-3 times a year they have "lots of stuff on sale" sales, and they do individual games all the time. I think the "everything on sale" sale just ended, so if you're waiting for a bargain maybe check them every weekend or so. Most stuff goes on sale after it's been out for a few months.

Best to be patient imo.

Goddamn I hate BR games but I'm totally addicted to Apex. One win, not even 20 kills since launch, but anytime a friend is playing I'm in there looting and pinging and inevitably getting knocked down first.

Started playing some Apex last weekend. Dig it. Haven't been able to play all week because of new job/new hours. I suck but I am in if anyone wants to get a squad going.

Downloaded Paladins for the switch as well. Only played a few games but seems fun.

Actually, I finally committed to doing Ranked this weekend. Got myself Gold 2 after placements, don't know why I put it off so long because it gets way less intimidating after 3ish rounds. Jager/Thermite scum.

I feel a bit better supporting GoG rather than Steam. GoG has never inspired me to shout "oh fuck you Gabe!" when trying to get a new computer set up. Also, they're a division of the company that makes the Witcher games. Steam is a division of Valve, which used to make games I don't like as much as Witcher 3.

Looking at Mortal Kombat 11 videos on youtube I can't help but think the series has now gone full retard. Regular moves are like fatalities now, and even have all the wooshy close up camera work, so the actual fatalities don't really feel earned in any way at all. The bars around the screen also look weirdly cheap and ugly. Is this the general consensus or am I taking crazy pills?

Anthem is pretty fun at it's core but it's got major issues.

The flying and combat is super fun.

Loading screens that last 1 min+. Loading screens for every action. Loading screen if you're too far away from team. Loading screen after missions.

Story is slim. Barely know why I'm doing anything because is miss the missions dialog because I'm stuck in loading screens.

They say it'll be fixed at official launch 22nd. We'll see.

I mean, there are bigger problems in that the game is not even out and some people already did all of the content that's going to be released on launch. Which is hilarious.

Yep.
I was browsing the Anthem subreddit and people (more than a few) were only sleeping around 4-6 hrs a day since release friday.
Playing 18-20 hours each day. Fri, Sat, Sun.
Even 8 hrs of play a day sounds like a lot to me.

Story is around 10-14hrs long.
another 8-10 to get to end game. Once at end game. Nothing left to do that you haven't done already.

Sad part is 1/4 of that time is loading screen time and not actually playing the game.

I hope it gets fixed because I'd like to get 20-30 hrs out of it. As for now; I'm just waiting until 22nd before I play it again.
Debated just uninstalling it at this point too.
Keep Origin Access. Go play Titanfall 2 and maybe give Mad Max or Dragon's Age: Inquisition or burnout/need for speed a shot.

Damn that's disappointing to hear - was really hoping that BioWare could get their mojo back.

I guess I can still hope for a Mass Effect 1/2/3 remastered trilogy :P
