If you like games that get weird, Eternal Darkness for the GC is pretty great.

We played it in college. Room mate had a giant, old TV his dad wanted to get out of the house. We got super freaked out when the game "changed the volume" because it used the exact same volume bar graphic that the TV used.

Got a free Division 2 code with my GPU. Its a coin flip if I actually play the game for 1 hour or 60 hours.
EDIT:
Already boring AF. Tacticool Cosplaying; The Game pt II. You can headshot the enemy 3 times with your M4 and 600 rounds of Ammo
Back to Metro

I've said it before and I'll keep saying it: ubisoft had so many fucking chances to do The Division right but they just don't know how to properly make a game to completion.
I mean, they literally just took Rainbow Six Patriots and turned it into The Division then simultaneously put out Siege.
How fucking hard would it have been to just make them into the same game and have a nice first person open world shooter, eh?
HOW FUCKING HARD WOULD THAT HAVE BEEN UBISOFT?!

It's just too much... too many enemies, way too much ammo, running through massive environments with a body count of thousands. People can give MGSV as much shit as they want - but atleast that game has excellent moment to moment gameplay that forced you to plan a course of action and having the freedom improvise if needed. Running through Washington Hotel filled with invisible walls and cannon fodder with a spongier boss at the end is not rewarding gameplay.
It's kinda funny that a lot of my favourite are shooters where most of the time is spent not actually killing anyone.

This is definitely something I've been thinking of in shooters.
Either there are too many enemies, or there are very few enemies that are just bullet sponges, or there are too many enemies AND they're bullet sponges as an extra "fuck you for spending your money on this shit".
That's one reason I'm excited about Generation Zero.
A) you're fighting robots, so bullet sponginess can be explained away
B) there aren't nearly as many enemies to deal with, even with not all enemies taking 10k rounds to kill
C) enemies fight with actual tactics and those tactics aren't just "hide until you have to reload then decimate you" or "immediately rush you and overpower you"
I just really wish The Division 2 ended up being significantly better than The Division like everyone hoped it would.
As it was when I played the beta, it was basically the same thing but in DC and you have armor because now
all the enemies have assault rifles.

I think it's like an Ubisoft thing to have enemies that are bullet sponges and can take multiple headshots. I especially like how they have no reaction to being shot. That's how it's been in like.....every game of theirs that I've ever played. Always feels janky and unsatisfying.

I've gotten to lvl 14 in Division 2 and I quite like the game. Most of the negatives listed above by others; are things I like about it. idk.
I will say that lvl 1-10 was pretty slow pacing and somewhat repetitive.
Its not perfect and not AMAZING but I'm liking it so far. (I did play the first one but never pushed end game much)
After following/participating in this thread for years......I don't tend to have the same taste as most others here.
Its all good though. We all have our own tastes.
