Anyone have a good skiff case they can recommend? Need at least/around 104 hp, preferably angled. I feel like there aren't too many options and might just get the Make Noise skiff again, but am open to anything better.

The new Mutable refreshes make me want to commit to an all-Mutable rack - just as a standalone instrument for a little while.

Ooo that could be fun. I definitely like the look of new Ripples. I loved the old one and now with the extra features I'd like another.

So Pam's New Workout showed up yesterday and I love it. I've only played with it for half an hour or so and have barely begun scratching the surface of what I can do with it but it feels like it's really taken my setup to another level with the additional possibilities for sequencing. Very powerful tiny module.

:excellent:

Pams might be the essential module. Got mine a month or so back and feel the same way - took my setup from fun and formless to modular201.

if you build it get this. not my website.

I have power supplies. they are not exactly super compact like the make noise power supply. they are not noisy crappy power supplies either. the only way to fit one of my powered bus boards in a case is if you build it custom. you also need to mount the external power bricks somewhere. there are two of them. you can put them in one external power supply case. I see you are in new york from your bandcamp. you can save on shipping, I am close. if all your modules are less than 900mA you can do it on a single bus board. maybe even 1000mA if you push it. I can sell you cheap laptop power bricks or nice fancy external power supplies. I do it all.

down here, that's my website

I ended up sticking with the big case I have already and just pack up a synth. I caved and bought a 0-ctrl instead. It looks like so much fun and I miss having the Brains/PP2 setup from years and years ago.

Tomorrow, my Mutable haul should be arriving. Since I'm sticking with my big case it won't be Mutable-only, but some fun combo of Mutable, Make Noise, and probably Instruo.

No CV Mimeophon feedback drones. Love this thing. Been away from my synths for the past month, working on releasing music over youtube content. This is the first thing I have done with my modular in quite awhile. Hope y'alla re staying safe and healthy.

Cool sounds! Especially from something that's supposed to be a delay lol

It's slowly becoming a can't live without module, up there with Three sisters for me. Really excited to apply CV to what I explored in that video to make rhythmic changes.

HAWT. GET IT.

murf. i'm kinda going through.... minor musical depression? well, not music based, really just.... Anything Extra Based? a bit wiped out from work, and i've had periods where i was SUPER, probably dangerously, depressed. it's not that. it's just... i sit down to do musics, have fun for about an hour, get an idea going, then just... can't sit there any more. get up and go play Borderlands on the couch or binge something on my phone in bed or play something on Switch.

shit is frustrating. i love my setup, grabbing an external mixer this week so i can pare my modular down to 3u and put it closer to the computer (love the WMD PM, but don't use all the bits and bobs i was where i need that many inputs next to modules). but can't even stay focused enough to do a ModGrid layout.

frussssstratinnnnnnnng.

and i know what it is. it's all the shit i nevee paid attention to that people have to go through that i'm trying to listen to and hear them and the disgusting police brutality and fear that Corona is going to spike again and not being able to plan any travels and fear of a recession and just fucking EVERYTHING.

it will pass. just sucks right now.

WOOT.

It's OK not to be producing anything! I've felt a bit similar a lot of the time lately. I've still been playing but I've not been massively inspired to properly write down or record much of anything. If it's relaxing to sit down and make sounds for an hour then just take that for what it is and enjoy it. :thumb:

I've definitely been in a rut musically. Between furlough ending, packing up to move, and everything going on in the world there's not much energy to truly engage creatively.

Still making time to do some patching in the morning but not worried about making anything to record. Just stretching the modular muscles.
