So last night I had to interview a breaux for one of my freelance gigs, and while I normally keep my expectations really low (can't get all mopey if someone who's famous turns out to be a real drag, 'cause you're still working and such), it was super fucking rad to deal with someone who's like Wheaties Box famous that wasn't a shithead/giving canned answers/generally not that cool.

I got a lot of anxiety causing shit together this week, AND! I got a call about a good job prospect that I had just emailed my info to yesterday. I'm gonna set up a skype interview for next week and wow the pants off of them.
Maybe I will be moving to DC afterall (not that I don't love MIlwaukee, just that I would have a good career-starting job).

My PTO is finally active now. I'll have to ask how much I have right now tonight, but it should be a lot. Enough to cover the 3 days I'm taking for Thanksgiving and maybe a weekend+1 or 2 days in the middle of December (or maybe even January - I have like 80 annual roll over, but I have to use the rest - for a "staycation". Y'know just take it easy. Get some my shit together.
Yeah, I'm just really excited about a lot of things right now. New job prospect in DC again. Scheduling a Skype interview next week. Weird, I finally just decide to move to Milwaukee, then remember there aren't that many jobs and just start looking nationally, someone you interviewed with before recommends you for another job somewhere else. I email the person saying I'm interested/send resume on Wednesday. She calls two days later and I emailed her some samples and times I could do the interview last night (friday). So just waiting it could be real good for me.
But now I need to look for rooms in DC again, that's terrible

Good to hear it boss, although I feel your pain when it comes to finding Metro housing.
Skully mailed me a t-shirt with this graphic on it:
