Epiphone Riviera P93... 3 P90s... You tried it?

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/ ... ric-guitarI amember when this came out a little while back... but it was only offered in the cherry finish with gold hardware. I think gold hardware is laaaaaaame, but now they have this gold version with silver hardware (or nickel or chrome or whatever).
People are always asking about P90-equipped guitars, but this is rarely (only once on ILF) mentioned. Anyone have any interest in it or have you tried it? My Korean Casino is falling apart, and I thought of picking up one of these, which would (mostly) match my Les Paul Special in TV Yellow with black soapbar P90s. Shit! I just thought of that. That would be cool.

I would rape that NIck Cage style.
I played on a red one, and the set up at GC was horrible, but it still sounded nice

I'm usually not an Epi/Gibson guy, but that fucking guitar is the sex. I bet it sounds huge too.

Yeah and honestly, you would be better off with an Epiphone Nick Valensi and putting a Bigsby on it. I tried both and the parts on the P93 is kind of shoddy. That being said, it could have just been one of the bad ones.

epiphones are play before purchase for me but that guitar is hot!

Yeah, I'd like to at least try one out. There is a Guitar Center up the road a piece... maybe I'll check it. My Casino has always been dope, but I've had it for a decade and it's not holding up anymore. I could probably go and get it fixed up at the local luthier's.
I thought about picking up a Nick Valensi... I wouldn't need the Bigsby, either. I have an Epi Bigsby on my Casino, but I took the spring out and just string it through. Plus the Casino is paper-thin and I feel like I'd bend right through the damn thing.
I had a dream last night that both of my guitars totally crumbled. And these were two separate dreams. First my Les Paul Special split right down the middle, then the headstock on my P-Bass crumpled like an old hollow tree trunk. Usually I had dreams about my teeth falling out.
