That's the VOS model, shipped to your door in pieces as Fender's relic guys smash 'em on the ground repeatedly to get the authentic Cobain look/feel.

Pretty much, yeah.
Although with list at $1850 the actual price will be $1300, so about the same as the cobain model, after you consider finding someone to buy it for you in japan and ship it to you. With considerably less hassle. Like finding someone in Japan willing to dance around import/export rules.
also, I dont see it on Ishibashi, so it might be out of production. So multiply the difficulty by 300x

Yeah, let me pay over a grand for a brand new guitar that's been beat to shit

I'd rather just buy a new jag and play it for a few years.

Haha, found on used at ishibashi. 79,000 yen, so about $1000 dollars. Plus shipping and import duties.
*edit*
The US Cobain replica might actually sell at $1800 or whatever, considering the AV series are like $1700 now. OUt-fucking rageous.

Still waiting on that Kevin Sheilds Jaguar... Wait, why are they building this when they can just do another run of Jag-Stangs?

Don't try and comprehend Fender's actions, it will only frustrate you!

Well it's good to know he made an impact on them. *hidden punch line*
