...are happening sooooooooon!
i've finally ironed out the details/controls to get them to a really nice place.
final controls will be:
knobs - gain, voltage, hi-cut, fuzz volume, clean volume
switches - bypass footswitch, octave footswitch, transistor flip, tone blast
i took off the diode clipping and switched it with the tone blast (like on the original). lots more sounds in here now! as soon as i get my new batch of enclosures and get some things sorted (computer) i'll finally make these happen. sorry for the extended extended delay... by the way, there will be one sneakily available at bassefx.com either today or tomorrow.

Has anyone already compared a bass-modified with the standard one...?

Probably phantasmagorovich can say sth. He played Mine standard One and has now his own with clean blend. I think, the clean blend/ separate volume knobs is / are the only difference

It is different.
Brian did say it was changed (not much) but this one has the "OOMMPPHH" that I thought was a little lacking in the regular version.
Just has more balls, and a different (better) tone.
In other words, Bri did an awesome job on every level

yeah i changed a little bit more. the bass mod'd ones have the classic tone switch which goes from super scooped to mid-heavy, *slightly* less gain on the front end and a boost at the end to compensate for the passive mix stage and keep amp-melting volumes when cranked. personally, i'm not a huge fan of the scoop when it's just a standalone fuzz, whereas with the blend it's way more useful. i tend to think about what "i would like" when i'm working on things, etc but i'm trying to change that practice since obviously my opinion is not the end all and people like plenty of things that i dislike and vice versa.
