Guitar POLISH

So I just tried my hand at polishing a guitar that I'm trying to spruce up before I sell it. I used Virtuoso Premium Polish. I never cared much before about polishing guitars. I personally like the worn look, but I felt like a good polishing would be nice for any new owner.
I was amazed by how nice the guitar looks now. All the wear marks on it disappeared. The big wear mark where my forearm usually falls was GONE.

So I'm curious, do any of you polish your guitars? If you do, what do you use and how do you use it?
(Like I said, I normally like the worn look, but I just found this phenomenon interesting.)

I dont "polish" mine as such, but I do clean them regularly. normally just use a glass cleaner

im in the camp that thinks that a well loved instrument shows it's love and if you avoid playing it a lot and clean it often so that it looks pretty, you never really loved it.

kinda got solidified when i was talking to my ex and she said she loves her violin, but never plays it. sorry, but thats an oxymoron

Yeah I'm all for showin off the battle scars. I'll probably never polish a guitar again. I just wanted to make it not look like complete shit before it's sold.

I just use Dunlop guitar cleaner for the guitar and lem oil for the fretboard.
No polish as it could change the tone of the wood (yeah, Im crazy like that).
