iPad vs Mini

:hello:
I need to get an iPad for work this week. I've been looking at refurbished ones and am pretty set on the ipad mini. mostly because of the prices. I compared them side by side too and I still kind of liked the mini more although I'm not sure which version ipad it was. mini just felt nice in the handstwss

What do you guys like? Bigger screen prolly equals more fun and easier musicing on da apps but whatevs.

Also would anyone recommend more than 16gb? I have 16gb on my phone and it's been almost filled for a long time with music and angry birds and whatnot. am I likely to fill up an iPad even more with cool junk or have yos been fine with 16gb? I'm leaning more towards 32gb anyway

i opted for an ipad 2 over the new mini
only $40 more expensive at the time
$600+ was way too much for the new ipad
and i new if i got the mini id yearn for bigger screen
now i feel like the ipad2 is too big n clunky
definately wouldve been happy with the mini
oh and i got 16gb
the only time i fill it is if i dont delete twisted wave recordings
i dont have much music on it though
im not sure if theyre still sellin the 2 though

I have an iPad 2 also and my fiancé has a mini. For music making apps the bigger screen is definitely nicer but I could easily get by on a mini. 16gb has been fine for me so far, still have 10gb left, lots of music apps installed though. Once I record audio files I just transfer them to my computer which is easy with the app iFunBox (the app is for your mac/pc) which is free and helps with file management. :)

Yeah, that is weird. I think Apple's whole file management system for iDevices needs retooled.

i think if i were to get an ipad, i would get hte mini. slightly more portable, but for me the screen is big enough to get funky.

if i didnt have a laptop. i would probably get the regular.

Ended up getting a mini! :D It's pretty sweet and i dont really feel like its lacking any screen real estate although it deffy wouldnt hurt
Puttin it through its pacing with a cheapo lil solid state (just out of the picture) and the board. All done sifting through apps thread too and decided Multitrack DAW to start record funz with

I found an iPad Mini 16GB for cheap (30% discount), It's a good deal or I should go for a regoular Ipad (Retina)?
Are enough 16 for music apps? (tabletop, garageband, many synths and a cool DAW) (I think I should use my iPad for short movie making\editing\cutting)
My Iphone is full of games and Smashing Pumpkins discography.
