Animoog for iPhone, iRigHD, and External Keyboard?

Trying/want to make this all work together, if it's even possible....

Animoog and the iRig HD should work together seamlessly, no problem there. External keyboard is where I'm stuck.

Haven't found anything that explicitly states whether or not Animoog for iPhone can be used with an external keyboard, and if so how. Direct via Lightning? Via Camera Connection Kit? Some sort of (proprietary?) hardware for connection via 5 pin MIDI? Anyone know?

Ideally, for me, would be to be able to use both iRig AND an external controller - keyboard for keyboarding, and iRig to process audio out to my hardware setup....

Help?

u gunna need either the CCK (need iOS7 for it to work on iPhone) or a midi interface for your iPhone (there are a few out there, whoever makes Irig also makes a midi jawn)

if you're port is already being used by an audio interface, u may wanna try to look for a device that has both the audio and midi in one.
or u can use the port for midi/cck and your headphone/mic jack as your input/output.

I think I'm going to go with the iRig Pro. After finally hearing back from Moog, that's what they recommend - and it'll provide audio and MIDI i/o for my Lightning and 30pin devices as well as my MBA.

Anyone wanna buy an iRig HD?

why not just use a Camera Connection Kit to connect an usb keyboard to the iphone, and use the iphones line out for sound?!

I think of 1/4" connections sounding better or at least being more reliable than 1/8". Also I have both 30pin and Lightning devices - so I'd have to either settle on using one or the other for my noise mangling needs or purchase both types of CCKs - the iRig works with 30pin, Lightning, and anything that will do audio i/o over USB.
