I got mine yesterday and I am rock hard. For reals. I just want it on all the time. Right now I just have the gain mostly cranked, mids boosted and I'm messing with different combinations of starve and treble with the octave.

The octave is so much more than just an octave up. It can get super thick and fat sounding and really adds some crazy subs. Its punchy and cutting and gnarly, but my bass still sounds like a bass. No blend needed.

I can't wait to get off work tomorrow and play it more.

Mini into Buzzz is a killer combo. Suboctave fuzz into Buzzz is terrifying.

The superfuzz circuit has piqued my interest lately. Unfortunately it's going to have to get in line. :p

I've heard a few that left me kind of meh, but that octave sounds like a circular saw without being grating.

Hopefully they'll still be around when I actually grow a pair.

This pedal is everything I wish the Depth Charge had been. So versatile. So heavy. Sounds amazing at every setting. I'm usually a set it and forget it kinda guy, but there are so many sounds in this box its ridiculous. And everything is so interactive. A small bump of the starve knob makes a big difference. One of the few pedals I've played on bass where I can crank the treble and it'll still sound good. And if you hit the octave, starve it, and roll off the treble a bit, you get a really awesome buzzy synth kinda fuzz. I'm still exploring all the sounds I can get out of this thing, but I'm inspired to record some clips, and Brian, I'll have a review up on the site soon. Just have to find the right words.

I doubt it. You can PM/email Brian, but he's on tour now. So, it may take him a while to get back to you.
