gbv-esque recording tips:
- run the vocal mic through a guitar amp (preferrable one with spring reverb), then record the amp.
- don't pay too much attention to micing technique or recording levels. it will be fine!

Also: write a pop hook, don't worry about adding verses, etc. 1:15 is plenty of time to rock your ass off!

That entire album's vox were supposedly run through a DMM. I still have to try that

I guess that's my 4track recording tip. Run everything through an old school DMM.
Somehow I haven't tried it yet but trust me, I'm on the internet. What could possibly go wrong?
