hey senseis, so I've been trying to record direct into a tascam us-1200 using the 5 or 6 input set up for line in. I can hear it through the speaker out of the interface and the red led lights up if it's clipping, but it's not tracking on my computer. picks up xlr input fine tho. if it helps; I'm trying to track a cassette using audacity. I'm checking the mic input on the DAW and as far as I can tell everything is set up correctly (unless there's something I need to change when using inputs 5/6 rather than 1-4?). anybuddy have any ideas? :?: :?: :?:

You need something that will recognize those inputs. Audacity last I checked doesn't do ASIO stuff.

I have a US-1800 - both Reaper and Tracktion work with it. Reaper is never-expire nagware that isn't crippled in any way, and Tracktion V4 is free, period. Both will recognize *all* your inputs.
