The Unknown

This a concept dating back a while now. The general idea is that the Lightning Wave pedals provide user-generated modulation waves or "loops" that can be transmitted via the CV 0-5VDC or an optical resistor to their internal analog stuffs. I figured since all the tedious stuff like bypass, jacks and power are all running through the audio board's connector, it would be handy to break that out to brainstorm new modulation effects.

The internal layout provides a bunch of space and a breadboard conveniently fits in for prototyping.

Following that stage, the next step is using the LWave PCB template/pinout to make/etch changeable audio circuits/cards that will only take a few minutes to swap around. Perhaps even less

The PT2399 has given some cool results so far :thumb:

Looks great too!

The next part after tweaking the breadboarded circuit is to convert to a boarded version.

That way you can swap and collect DIY sound cards like pokemon.

Ah cool!! If you have a spare optocoupler I found that you can make a stereo tremolo using the on-board LDR and the inverted C.V. tuned to sweep the extra LED/LDR.

I think maybe you could make an optical version of the Doom too if you split the input buffers and sum each channel to a mono output.

The stereo trem is real cool into a two-channel amp with separate EQ's i.e. One set to high pass and the other set to low pass. They get all swirly :)
