The Music Distribution Thread

I'm looking to release some music on some streaming services like Apple Music / Spotify / whatever.
Who here uses a distribution service, and are you happy with it? I'm talking about stuff like TuneCore, CD Baby, LANDR, DistroKid, etc.
Let's hear about your experiences!

My last band used LANDR, no complaints. Seemed easy enough. I think the others are still using it for their new project as well.

Seems like the easiest/most modern solution but I'm a little turned off by the yearly subscription model? CD baby you pay-per-release, which seems like a better deal. Also note that I don't need any mastering services.

I use distrokid. Love it
Pro tip:
go to the website and start to sign up. Don't finish.
You'll get a 35% discount email a day later
Don't do it
Then you'll get a 40% off coupon email
Then I signed up.

Distrokid alternatives? I'm fed up with them.
Want something that is a one-time payment and not a subscription or rolling charges.

Which annoying quirks are you referring to? Just curious because this might be the option I'm going with.

Can't recommend anyone to you but I can recommend not using Landr. They really botched the last three releases of mine in a row, were weirdly picky about stuff and had some of the most incompetent, unhelpful customer service I've dealt with. Offered me a paltry $5 discount for completely fucking up a release I scheduled 95 days in advance lol. Hope there's someone better out there.
