**EDIT POST Oct 11
Finally finishing this shit up! Took me all summer and then some... Made 11, traded 1, and sold 9 which includes fuzzonaut's that I'm still working on. I have 1 left that I need to debug, but it's a strange problem that I have never encountered. So if I do debug it, one will be up for grabs. If it's a pain to debug I might scrap it and move on...
**END EDIT
About time to wipe some dust from this tank! Started to learn Eagle and made my first fabricated PCBs. The boards just showed up to my office this morning and will start to build one tonight. Hopefully they work.
The Error Machine is basically a Fox Tone Machine with an extra footswitch for turning off and on the octave up. Both the octave up and straight fuzz modes have their own separate tone controls. I'm also adding in a rotary switch that gives a choice of 7 different clipping options. The above build with the toggle is my personal one, toggle doesn't do much so leaving it out of the equation.
Made 10 boards so hope to make more than a few to be available for anyone that is interested in the nearish future!

Hey thanks guys! I built the board over the weekend and when I tested it yesterday I was a bit disappointed as the signal was fuzzy but really low. I realized shortly that I labeled one of the resistors in my Eagle schematic the wrong value and when I swapped that out today I got some full bore brutal fuzz
I have a couple of trimpots on the board to do some fine tuning. Didn't think they would do much as I hadn't experimented with this before but they are actually pretty helpful. Overall, sounds super brutal and extremely happy with the final result!
I'll need to get this fella who has this recent incarnation to give me a link with it on bass. He had sent it awhile back but I can't find it. Unfortunately, I don't have a bass or bass setup to test with. I'll see if he can pop by to give it a review!

Great great stuff, all of yours is amazeballs, but this might even be the king of amazing!
Are you going to do different colours?
The red looks awesome but I could see this design with different colours as well like bright green, the blue you usually use, deep purple, or even copper or something.
Just asking / saying.

The fella that used it on bass said it doesn't give a thumping low end. I could make you one that has a larger input cap but wouldn't be able to test it since I don't have bass equipment. Really wish I did!

I definitely suck in this department. I bought a used Apogee duet about 4 months ago and it's still sitting in it's box in my office. I'll try to bust it out as I just got 2 new 10 inch speakers for a sweet Harmony speaker cab I've had sitting around and running the Error Machine into a Quilter Tone Block 201 into the cab sounds fantastic. Extremely angry sounding! I recently acquired the Quilter as I've been completely lazy & scared to finish my Hiwatt build. At first I hated it and don't really care for how they do the EQ but after more time getting used to it I'm starting to like it more. I'm also going to build a Lab Series L5 preamp to run into the Quilter's power amp too at some point.

Thanks, Tristan! I thought about doing different colors but then decided to stick to all red. I really love the vibrancy of this red and since the red isn't painted to a defined space and is a bit more haphazard so it feels to me like they are bleeding!
