<breath in> I got one of these today. Amazing, its... like great. Not solid, not interesting, not... it's great. It's everything I wanted to be able to accomplish with a pitch-pirate when I first saw them, but with added fuzz goodness, and it's.. ummm great. I mean, it's great... I'm not sure what else to say. Thank you.

The only thing I'm sorry about is that I waited this long to get one.

I just got it today... but I can't use it because I don't have an adapter for it. Anyone got suggestions for adapters that will work with it? Or is there a space in the pedal that you could put a 9v battery in?

as far as I know there's no battery clip. Any standard 9v negative tip adapter should work right?

Yeah I guess. I just ordered a 1-spot and a few cables from MF, so hopefully next week I will be able to use this thing. :omg:

hey guys, fellow clari(not) owner checking in... got mine used from a guy in NYC who was kind enough to ship it when our schedules wouldn't allow a face to face exchange... mine is a "prototype" and beyond how much cooler that makes it for me i can't really find anything different about it from the demos i see online except that the delay and blend have switched places.... Doug's inventive pedals have given me a new found love of DIY pedal building and admiration for innovative ideas (also led me to Devi's pedals so thanks for that) in sonic shaping, and the pedal is loads fun to mess with, even does some pretty crazy stuff in a feedback loop....

regarding the power, yeah, i only use the 1Spot on my pedalboard at the moment and that's the only way to get it working for me... I did build a battery clip that I use for when I am building pedals and want to test them out (simple, buy a battery snap and 2.1mm plug and wire the red to sleeve and black to tip - radioshack buys!)... i got the idea when I built a dual battery (18v) snap plug for my Fulltone Fulldrive2... but the 1Spot works fine....

Don't worry man, I might trade my Clari(not) for something down the road if I don't fall in love with it, though it sounds pretty rad. I've been doing Bass BMP -> Superdelay -> Clari(not) all in the loop of my CHK CHK BOOM, and it's like noise heaven. Need to make a vid of it at some point.

Wow this is single handedly the most unique effect I've owned. Very fun to use and already found a usable and practical setting despite how weird it is. Excellent. I'm sure the pitch pirate is just as cool, but i love everything about this things. The fuzz tone is really nice, I was worried it wouldn't sound good alone through my small practice amp. Just a joy to have.

Video demo asap.
